Name: Samy Fat Hair “0” Calories  Amplifying Shampoo
Brand: Samy Fat Hair
Price: £5.59
Size: 300ml
Uses for this product: Gaining a fuller, stronger and healthier looking hair

Whenever you look at a magazine or watch TV you so many women with long and thick hair. It’s everywhere! And while some like to use extensions, I wanted to try it the more natural way. So, while I was in Superdrug (it’s a drugstore for those of you not living in the UK) I came across a line of shampoo’s and conditioners that claimed to “increase the thickness of your hair” called Fat Hair, “0” Calories. I decided to give it a shot and was starting to notice a difference in my hair. But, instead of actually making my hair thicker it felt like it was just making feel coarser and therefore look thicker. After using that for a few weeks I found out that Castor Oil was supposedly well-known for making your hair longer and thicker. This definitely made a dramatic difference to my hair! And it wasn’t just me who was noticing it. I have been getting compliments for so long about how long and thick my hair is J

So in this instance Nature overrides Manufacture for sure!!

So here’s how I used the Castor Oil:

Twice a week I would pour 2 tablespoons of Castor Oil into a bowl (most of the time I use this with Argan Oil) and put it in the microwave for a couple minutes.

Once the oil has heated to a bearable temperature, make sure you have a towel at the ready.

Part your hair into sections and rub the Castor oil into the scalp using just your fingers. Do this for about 15-20 minutes until the oil has been evenly distributed into the scalp. Rubbing your scalp will encourage blood flow which is really good for your hair and the new hair that is currently growing. You want to focus more on the scalp with this oil because that’s where the new hair will be growing and becoming thicker.

Once I finished rubbing the oil on my hair I wrapped it up in a towel and kept it on overnight.

The next morning wash it all off using your usual shampooing method.

Even though I did say that the Fat Hair Shampoo didn’t make the difference I thought it would, I decided to keep using it at the same time as using the Castor Oil. I feel that using both of these products together definitely makes a difference.

Until next time beautiful people, L x
