Back to basics : Cleansing Lotion
Back to Basic : Boots Essentials Cleansing Lotion
I don't use wipes and I haven't for at least 8 months, I have tried a handful of cleansing lotions, cleansing oils , cleansing gels and Micellar water an all have between £3 and about £10 which can be expensive so I thought I would try out a cheaper brand.
The cleansing lotion is currently £1.50 for 150 ml but is apart of an offer 3 for £3 on Boots Essentials so its good if you are on a budget. I have used it for about week and I would say I'm less than a quarter way through the bottle so it would last you at least a month depending how you use it.
First Impression
It smells good, it has the same sent of cucumber line from boots if you are fimilar with it, If you are not it doesn't smell as strong as a cucumber but strong enough to reconize the smell. The consistency is like a thin cream, its not the thicket I have ever tried but that doesn't bother. The packing is good in the sense that you can control how much comes out of the depending how hard you squezze it.
The Results
I normally double cleanse with two different cleasners but when trying this one and I only used this one. To remove make up that I have worn the whole day it would be off with two cleanses but when it is pretty fresh make up maybe cleanses 3 times just to get the last little bits off. I enjoyed it, it has not irritated my skin, not left it dry and has caused any break outs. Over all I think its a great product. I will definitely use this product again! I will finish the bottle and probably buy more when I have finished up all the cleansers I have up. I also would like to explore this line even more !
