Battle of the budget : Concealer's
I have done something similar to this I did a version for Lipsticks. So I thought I would do concealer edition. I haven't always worn concealer I normally wear it under eyes and on blemishes I am not massively into highlighting so I normally just use it to cover. The have only decide to do use two I was going to include the collection concealer but that maybe in some people budget but it is twice the price of the lowest costing one so I did take it out.
The concealer I have decided to compare are the essence 16 hour wear concealer and the MUA Cover and conceal both are under £3
Essence
On the Tube it claims to have 16 hours coverage but that's not how long the concealer lasted on me I would say it lasted about 4 hours on me redness on my chin but with under eyes for covering Dark circle it lasts longer as long as I am not laying down on it or rubbing my eyes. I have dry skin and it doesn't cling or flake like some others I have tried that are more expensive than this. The down side to this is that I have only seen two shades. The colour range seems to be very limited when I bught mine there was only 2 shades which is really bad. I have shade 20 Soft Beige and when I bought mine it cost me £2.49
MUA
This is the cheapest out at £1.50 . I use this to cover a group of small blemishes by my mouth The shade I have is fair on my me on blemish it lasts about 4 hours. I didn't set it with any product because I didn't think it was. Unlike the others it doesn't claim any time period. the texture felt smooth and un drying it it didn't feel thick and it didn't feel or look at all cakey and was to blend in.
Here
Conclusiom
They both were good in their constentecny, they lasted around the same time as each other and for me there is no clear winner! I was more impressed with MUA because it doesn't have the massive claim of longer wearing than essence. To me I would pick any of the concealer but keep in my mind I have only ever tried highstreet/ Drugstore concealers there are probably more expensive one of the market that are better but for under £3 they are just fine
