Superdrug Witch Hazel Purifying Face Mask
I picked this Face mask up in a recent Haul from Superdrug because my skin was really bad, I was breaking out all over my face and I felt like my face needed a good cleanse and deep clean to bring all the dirt out of my skin. I have used other face mask from Superdrug before (Vitamin E one is my favorite masks in general) The mask is £2.59 but its 1/2 price on selected Superdrug when you buy selected Superdrug products
When I bought this I didn't look at reviews on the Superdrug website which was a big mistake! When I first put the mask on it felt like it was stinging it wasn't to painfully so I wasn't alarmed but I did check the back of the packet just in case it was suppose to happen and it wasn't. I checked the internet and the reviews on the product where really bad! So I took the mask off straight away and after rinsing off the mask and I was horrified. My skin was bright red where the mask was on my face, most of my face was bright red and there were two rings around my eyes that were my normal colour where the mask wasn't! it was like I had a really bad sun burn ! I ran to my Mum and she was also alarmed and directed me to immediately put Sudocream on my face. I smothered my face in it I didn't even rub it in skin and let it soak into my skin and a couple of hours later it had all sunk in and my face was back to its normal state.
I will never ever use this product again, I wont pass it on to anyone because it was that bad, I wasn't the only one who had this reaction to this product based on the online reviews. I love the vitamin E mask I think its great, worth more than the £2.59 but this one lowers the standard and I would never use it again
