Lush Haul!

So I had a moment of weakness in Lush the other day! I could have gone a lot crazier but A was there to slow me down. Seeing that winter is here I've been craving bath moments! I picked up 5 bath products that I’ve never tried before and thought I would tell you what they are and what they’re meant to be good for. This post will be split into 2 parts; part 2 will be a personal review on how they worked for me. So stay tuned beautiful people!

Shoot for the Stars (bath bomb)

This is so magical! It starts by fizzing and spinning in the bath then all of a sudden it releases a light blue, orange/red, and lastly it turns the bath a very dark blue to reflect the different stages of the sky! Cool right?! It even has silver glitter like the stars! Not only does it look amazing but it’s supposedly meant to be really good for your skin. So if you love a show with bath time as well as soft feeling skin, this is definitely for you. It’s also really affordable at only £3.50 per bath bomb!

So white (bath bomb)

This bath bomb is a lot more reserved than the Shoot for the Stars bath bomb. But don’t be deceived...When this bath bomb dissolves in the water it releases a mist like effect! The thing that first attracted me to this bath bomb is the smell. It’s a gorgeous apple scent! LOVE LOVE LOVE! But, the smell apparently changes once it gets to the centre where it reveals a beautiful rosy scent. They also added Neroli Oil, which is scientifically proven to increase the serotonin production in our brains. This means it makes us feel a lot happier! This is especially good when you want to relax and unwind after a stressful day, or around the stressful Christmas period. This bath bomb was also only £3.50 and it’s pretty common to find in Lush stores so there’s no need to worry about it going out of stock!

Butterbear (bath bomb)

A recommended this to me because she’s used it before and it’s supposedly really good for your skin! This bath bomb is known for releasing gorgeous cocoa butter which is great for soothing dry skin...especially now it’s getting colder! Not only does this little guy release skin boosting cocoa butter, but he also gives out a lovely vanilla scent. I don’t know about you guys but I absolutely LOVE the smell of vanilla. It feels very homely! Another great perk to the butterbear is that it’s only £1.95 each. That’s a bargain! Not only is this a great gift for an adult but kids would love it too!

Ceridwen’s Cauldron (bath melt)

Like the butterbear bath bomb this luxury bath melt is perfect for when your skin is feeling dry and just needs a pick me up. I couldn’t resist buying myself this one because it just looks so cool! The really good thing about this bath melt is that as well as releasing oily oatmilk which has amazing benefits for your skin, it also comes wrapped in a muslin cloth which you can use to gently scrub your body. When I first smelt the bath melt it did smell a little like lavender which I don’t like, but it does say it has a sandalwood, frankincense and rose scent once it starts to dissolve in the water. So when I try it hopefully it does what it promises. This one did cost a little more than the others because it’s a luxury bath melt, but for what it says it does £4.35 doesn’t seem too bad. If you do get this bath melt and you don’t want to use up the entire thing in one go then you can open it up and cut it in half.

Christmas Eve (bubble bar)

I’m a sucker for a good bubble bath so I’m really excited to try this one! The description for this one says that it’s really great to use around the Christmas holiday because it has stress relieving
ingredients like jasmine and ylang ylang. The blue and yellow on the bar are also released into the water to create a lovely colourful atmosphere and the ylang ylang supposedly sticks to your skin as a perfume. I find that really cool! To activate the bubbles you have to crumble it in running water and VOILA your bath is filled with relaxing smells and colours. This is selling for only £2.95! So if you love the sound of this then grab before it’s gone!

I hope you enjoyed my mini haul and stay tuned for part 2 where I’ll tell you how they worked!
