Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation Review

I bought this foundation as a spur of the moment purchase as I had run out of my MAC foundation and due to my recent cut down on spending I couldn't justify spending £27 on foundation *crying face*. I didn't have the greatest expectations for this foundation as it was only £6.99 and I’m the type of person who thinks the more expensive the product is the better it will work. Guys.....I've been fooled! This foundation was soooooo amazing! I can’t even begin to describe how well this works with my skin. It leaves my face looking radiant and covers up so well. I've tried a few foundations which have given me slight coverage but left my skin looking lifeless. Not this one! I can safely say that applying foundation is now my favourite part of my makeup routine.

When it first comes out of the bottle it doesn't look like it will be heavy at all which is great for me because I can’t stand feeling like my makeup is caked on. It gives a really naturally radiant look which I guess is the whole point of foundation right? Another great thing about this foundation is that it has SPF. It’s SPF 18 so it’s not the best protection, but it’s enough for cold London. It says it lasts all day which I don’t think I’d agree with. I would say it stays looking good for about half a day since applying it. But if you’re the type of the person who doesn't care about it wearing off slightly throughout the day then it’s fine. If not then you can always reapply.

I think overall this foundation is definitely a great find and I’ll 100% be buying this again and again.....or until I can find something even better!
