June Haul

So I’ve been a little naughty this month (ooops)! Since I’ve finished uni I think I’ve had a lot of free time on my hands and you know what happens when you have free time....SHOPPING! A lot of it has been online but the other day I went to Lakeside shopping centre in East London and bought a few things there too.

I am sooo in love with these strappy sandals! I’ve actually worn them already which isn’t normal for me. Usually I leave it a week or so until I wear new shoes but I wore these straight away. I was a bit worried about them damaging my feet because we all know what happens when you wear new shoes. But I wore them just fine for the entire day without getting any blisters! I got these from H&M for £19.99 and I think they’re a staple piece for any outfit because it really adds a touch of dressiness.

OMG OMG THIS BAG! I’m so excited to use this backpack! I’m hoping to use this as my hand luggage when I go to Florida because I hate using strappy bags or bags that you have to pull. I’d rather prefer to just fling it on my back and get on with my journey. Also, the weight from the backpack is distributed over both shoulders, instead of carrying everything on just one. I really love how the backpack doesn’t look big but when you open it up it has so much room for everything you could possible need. The blush colour and the contrasting gold accents just make me super happy too! I picked this up from ASOS for only £14.50 so get yours now because they’re on sale!!

So as you may know from a previous post (that you can find here) I’m redecorating my bedroom. I haven’t finished just yet but it’s almost done. I don’t want to show you too much but I got this cute cushion from Primark for just £4! It goes so well with my colour scheme and looks gorgeous on my bed.

With my trip to Florida in mind I picked up this set of 3 clear toiletry bags from Boots for just £8. I love how they come in different sizes so that at least I can use one of them in my hand luggage. Also, they’re clear so I can always see what’s in them instead of rummaging around looking for certain products. They feel really durable as well which is always a plus!

I was in Primark the other day and I was genuinely walking around the skincare/beauty area thinking “what is that glorious smell!”. I found it...it was this! I’m so in love with this strawberries and cream scent. I’ve honestly been spraying this everywhere; on my bed, in my wardrobe, on myself lol. LOVE! And it was only £2.50. BARGAIN!

I’m loving how thin this t-shirt is without being too see-through and I think it’s perfect for warm weather. I also really like that you can dress up this top or dress it down. I got this from Forever 21 for just £8 which I think is a great price for what it is. 

I also picked up this t-shirt from Primark. Again, it’s a nice thin material that I think is great for keeping cool in the summer. This one is a lot more casual than the other one just because I think it looks sporty. I really like the zip on the chest and the faux leather trims around the neck and arms. This tee was only £6 and they also do it in black. 

Continuing my Primark spree with this gorgeous satchel bag that I bought for £8. I really like the colour which is kind of a taupe/grey and I think this could go with a lot of outfits. It’s not shown in the picture but it does have a long strap that’s great for times where you don’t want to carry around a shoulder or arm bag. 

I will be doing a review on this Clinique 3 step skin care routine soon. I ordered this little set off of Boots for just £20 as I wanted to see the skin benefits but until then all I will say is so far so good!

I did a review of the Benefit ‘Bronze of Champions’ in a previous post here and I really loved the ‘They’re Real’ mascara. So I decided to get the full version and keep the mini version in my bag. I do think the mascara is a bit pricey at £19.50 but now that I’ve tried it I don’t think I can use anything else.

I've been looking for a cute layered necklace for a while but haven't found anything nice until now. I kept finding layered necklaces with really weird pendants or too many layers, but this one from Forever 21 caught my eye straight away! I love how simple it is but still adds a touch of detail to an outfit. This necklace was £3.50 and for Forever 21 that's a really good price.

 I absolutely love these bracelets! I got them from Primark as a set of 3 for only £2!! I love the duck egg colour and how delicate looking they are. I have kind of small wrists so these types of bracelets are perfect!

Last but not least are these gorgeous earrings I bought from Primark for £1.50. I love the detail on these and the whole look of them when they're on. They're kind of similar to one's I picked up from ASOS for £8. These are definitely a bargain!

Beauty+Hair Care

Origins Set 

I picked up the Origins set a couple of weeks back on the reduced section, I have had this before I received it for Christmas and the same boots still had it on the reduced section (It was the last one) it was £11.50 for a full size Ginizing moisturizer, eye cream and a mascara, I have given the eye cream to my sister because she doesn't mind it and the mascara is in my make up draw its one I reach for often if at all. The main reason I got it  was the cream which I currently use it am and pm. Full review here    

Naked silky Conditioner and shampoo

This is a sulfate free shampoo and it was my favorite sulfate free shampoo, I am straying away from using Sulfate free but these were only £1 in savers instead over £4 in Boots.

Fashion 

First off lets address the hanger its a cat wearing a crown....HOW CUTE! I am a crazy cat lady (who has a dog) my sisters saw it and picked it up as surprise for me and I loved it. I still haven't decided what item of clothing that gets to be placed on the amazing hanger.

NYC Jogging Bottoms

These were reduced to £3, I wear jogging bottoms as PJ's and I also wear them when I walk the dog and the ones I have are worn and not the best. They are so comfortable and surprising thicker than I thought they were going to be and I wish I picked up more pairs!!

Primark Jeggings

I have had many pairs of these! I have tried other Jeggings I prefer these one  I have them in dark blue as well and I love them I wear them so often! They are comfortable and you can't really tell they are jegging and they're easy to move about in.

T shirt

Once again from Primark. It was £6 and it is a simple great top with simply but  good detail. If you are going to get I would suggest to get the next size up if you it to be baggy but its not a clingy top. The sleeves are a good length to as we in the UK are moving from one season to the other.

December to January Haul!

I know I know....my New Years resolution this year was to save more money and I have been sticking to that so far. But, you can’t stop a girl from doing a little bit of shopping here and there! This shopping has been done over the past couple of months where I’ve wanted to pick up a few little treats for myself.

MAC Blankety Lipstick

I was in Mac Westfield the other day and just couldn’t help myself when I saw this lipstick! I completely fell in love with it. It’s a lovely shade of pinkish nude which I think is perfect for everyday use. It’s a little out of my usual price range at £15.50, but since it’s almost my birthday I decided it would be a little gift to myself hehe.

Revlon Photoready Eye Primer and Brightener

I picked this up because I felt like whenever I wear eyeshadow (which isn’t that often) it doesn’t stay put for very long. I’ve used this a couple of times and found it was really great at not only making my eyeshadow last longer but also making it brighter and bolder. It was only £9.99 from Boots. I would definitely recommend this!

Natural Collection White Eye Liner

I bought from Boots at the same time as the eye brightener/primer to add to the whole big eye look. I wasn’t too bothered about the quality of the liner as I was just looking to use it on the inner parts of my eye. But I found the quality of this liner was surprisingly good for only £1.99.

Ring-Bracelet Chain

The second I saw this I honestly fell in love with it! I love how intricate and delicate it looks. It kind of reminds me of something quite Indian/Pakistani which I loveeee!! Not bad for £3.99 from New Look.

Black and Silver Statement necklace

I got this and the one below in a buy one get one free promotion at New Look. I love wearing black so I just had to buy this! I also like that you can wear this with something dressy and casual.

Blue and Silver Statement necklace

I really like the different tones of lilac, greens and blues in this necklace and love how it becomes the focal point of any outfit. These two necklaces were bought before the Boxing Day sales so they’re unfortunately unavailable now but there are loads that look pretty similar.

Cream/pink Peplum Top

I also got this before the Boxing Day sales from Boohoo.com, but this one is still available and is only £10!!

Dusky pink & khaki Jeplum Jacket

I bought these from Missguided.com for only £18 each. These little jackets are perfect to make an outfit look 10 times more dressy and I’m so glad they’re thin enough to continue wearing them in the Spring and Summer.

Black Heels

OOOOOHHH LA LA!! I got these just the other day from Deichmann as another little birthday gift to myself!! Don’t Judge Meeeeeeee they were only £17.99 which isn’t bad at all for a lovely pair of heels!! I have another pair like these in nude and I just loved the way look on so I had to get them in black. I plan to wear these to my birthday dinner :)

Blogmas Day 20: Weekly Favourites December #1

After not having a Favorite post for a while I come to you with  a random favorites with skincare, Make up, fashion and other fun things. 

Primark Jeggings

I have had these a while and I wear them also everyday (different pairs) and I have never thought to put them in favorites before. While going through different categorise for blog post and favorite's I realised I have never thought to include  a fashion favorite. In the last couple weeks I lost a pair of these and I have missed them a lot and I want more pairs so I thought I would included them . I like how they fit on the leg at the and with others I have had fluff sticks to them really bad and at £7 you can't wrong in my opinion.

Brookies 

I saw these  on Lilly Pebble vlog and when my sister was getting ready to bake so I joined in and found  the recipe and made them after picking up a few ingredients and they were pretty easy to make.  I made about 49 on Tuesday and now there's 1 left, They do taste like a cookie and brownie combined. I plan to make some more to go with some present for Christmas 

Superdrug vitamin E face oil

I ran out of the this over a month ago and I have used another since but I prefer this one and I recently picked it up again and have been reminded why I loved it so much. 

Elf Duo Eye shadow Cream

I did a comparison on this cream shadow here. I love the colour of this, the longevity isn't the best but I really like the colour that it turns on the lid. I like to use it when I'm in a rush and I know I wont be out all day.    

Sex and the City TV show 

I love this show! Its one of my favorites, season 3 is my favorites. I like watching it at night before I go to sleep.

Blogmas 7: My Winter Boots!

 My Winter Boots 

I think I am a bit delayed when it come to getting my boots for this year but I have had a bit of a hard time with finding ones that I want and like but also fit. Early on this year I picked up two pairs of combat boots from Primark , one black pair and one Brown pair . They have been some of my favourite ones I have ever had and I got them on sale .  I do have wider legs so it has been harder for me to find boots this year, I still was in love with the combat boot style but I haven't seen any of them around anywhere until I find my winter boots 2014 ...drum roll please!!

  1,2 buckle my shoe 

I found this at Shoe zone for £22.99 (my Primark ones were £12 and £18 but that was on sale ) They werent the cheapest boots but after going around New Look, H&M, Evans online  and Primark and there wasnt anything I wanted to buy/ fitted me I was close to giving up until L and 1 saw shoe zone and within about 3 minutes of being in the shop I already had the first boot on.

I have not had shoes from Shoe Zones in years so I hope they last! I have worn them for I do like them I had to break them in a bit but apart from that I have no major complaints

Fashion Friday: Favourite Handbags

Everyone has that one thing they  cant resist buying  some shoes, watches , make up and many more , Handbags are one of mine I have been told that I have to many, So I thought I would break it down and show you my favourite/ most used  bags   as you can tell they are over sized and very neutral  and wearable colours. The boldest I have ever gone with a large bag is red one and I can't remember what happened to that bag :s . I think handbags are my favourite fashion items to buy because no matter what they always fit !! 

So let's jump to it !! 

This lovely bag was a birthday gift from L. I think its from Dorothy Perkins. It is so cute and when I unwrapped it I spent a few minutes saying  it's so pretty and stroking the bag like a pet, in fact within 7 hours of having the bag and on a train I had removed everything from my old bag and everything in this new one!! It's practical the handles are comfortable on the arm and would probably fit with a winter coat and thick jumper on . I love this bag (Thank you L) . I don't find myself changing bags often because the colour scheme is neutral it doesn't clash with much so it means I get a lot of use out of them and they are not seasonal. 

This is this The Zara City bag. I can't find the exact bag on the website but I saw others that are  similar. I like to call this one my snazzy bag, its weird how much confidence a good bag can give you or is that just me ? This bag has a lot of room and compartments. It has a space for your phone , Oyster card and your tablet and if your laptop is small enough there is room for that to . I love the look of the bag, I tend to use it if I'm going a day out where I'm travelling and need to make sure I have a lot of things such as a jumper and my kindle incase I get bored a so on. It has handles and a  strap so it  can be been worn different ways, its up to you what you like best. I tend to wear  it on my shoulder because that is just easier for me to use but the  handles are not as big as other bags so when I have a thick winter coat on I don't know if that's going to be an easy fit , the bag was probably ment to sit on your forearm but I can't be dealing with that hassle. If you can't get your arm through the handle the bag has a strap that  does adapt so you can always shorten it. I think this bag is practical for the amount it can carry  but just try and remember where you put everything haha!


Last but not least is my bargain of all handbags

This bag was £4 from Tesco and believe me I have gotten by £4 worth. It has a few pockets I use the front one for train passes and the inside zip pocket for my phone and then everything else is a free fall which can be fun then can so be really really annoying but at least I know where everything is. I know for sure that my laptop fits in here. To me its just a great everyday handbag and I am  very happy I saw the bag  and it was on sale for £4!

Turquoise Statement Necklace

This is my favourite necklace to wear in the summer because the colour is so vibrant. It’s a really nice length too (just rests on the chest) and it’s perfect because it’s not too big like some other statement necklaces in stores. I got this necklace as a birthday present and I love it! I wear this necklace most of the time because it goes with sooo many different outfits. Gold Egyptian Necklace

I really love the look of this necklace! Someone gave it to me as a birthday gift but I haven’t found anything to wear it with yet. Hopefully I will find something to wear it with on holiday. It definitely seems like something you would wear abroad because of the ethnic feel. This was from H&M but it’s not being sold anymore so unfortunately I can’t provide a link for it.

Silver/Gold Statement Chain

I like the fact that this necklace has both gold and a dark kind of silver in it. It’s really different from other necklaces I’ve found where the two metallics don’t mix. I used to wear this necklace all the time and I found that it went with quite a lot of my outfits. I found this in New Look about a year and a half ago so it’s not in stores anymore L 

Black/Gold Triangle Necklace

The thing I like the most about this necklace is the detail around each of the triangles. There’s like these cute little chains that really give this necklace character. Again, I bought this a while back from New Look and they don’t sell it anymore, so I’ve left a link below to something kind of similar.
